I have recently begun to enhance my passion for teaching by moving into the financial planning industry after starting my career as a middle and high school teacher.  In both aspects, I look to do whatever I can to help people move towards their goals. As I work to assist Step Up Wealth Management’s team, I am learning many valuable insights into the best ways to help clients build and implement solid insurance & wealth management strategies and retirement plans.

I currently hold a Life and Health insurance license, as well as a Series 7 securities license. I am pursuing additional licensure and credentials over the next few years as I move towards becoming a financial planner.

Outside of work, I am engaged to a wonderful woman, Emma and we are just taking the first steps into our new life together, having just purchased a home and planning a wedding! I enjoy woodwork and leather crafting by hand, golf, fishing, craft whiskey and beer tasting, and generally anything where I can learn something new.
